The short version: Your writing is yours. Pitchcraft uses AI to analyze your submissions and provide feedback. Your text is processed in real time, then discarded by the AI provider. It is never stored by the AI, never shared with third parties, and never used to train any artificial intelligence model.
When you submit a logline, synopsis, one-pager, bio, or screenplay to Pitchcraft, your text is sent to our analysis engine. For paid analyses, this engine uses Anthropic's Claude API to read your submission and generate feedback. The text is transmitted securely, processed in real time, and the AI provider does not retain your submission after the response is generated.
Free analyses use a rule-based system that runs entirely on our servers. Your text is not sent to any third-party service for free-tier analysis.
This is the commitment that matters most, so we want to be unambiguous about it: your submissions are never used to train any AI model.
Anthropic, the company behind the Claude AI that powers Pitchcraft's analysis, explicitly states in their commercial API terms that inputs and outputs from API customers are not used to train their models. Bob Hub operates under these commercial terms.
Bob Hub does not train or fine-tune any AI model using your submissions. We do collect anonymized, aggregated pattern data (for example: "loglines averaging 35 words tend to score higher on structure") to improve the quality of our feedback over time. This aggregate data contains no identifiable text from any individual submission.
If you have an account, Bob Hub stores the following in your user profile:
Your email address and authentication credentials (managed by Google Firebase Authentication). Your analysis history, including: the tool used, the date, your score, the check-level results, and a short text snippet (the first 80 characters of your submission) for your own reference on the dashboard. If you provided a project title, that is stored as well. Optionally, any feedback rating you provide (1-5 stars) is stored alongside anonymized pattern data.
We do not store your full submission text after the analysis is complete. The full text is processed, the results are generated, and only the metadata described above is retained.
Bob Hub uses the following third-party services:
Anthropic (Claude API) – processes your text for paid analyses. Their commercial API terms prohibit using customer data for model training. Google Firebase – manages user accounts and stores your analysis history. Stripe – processes payments. Stripe does not receive any of your submission text. Netlify – hosts the website and runs our server functions. Bunny Stream – stores and delivers video uploaded to the Screening Room. The Movie Database (TMDB) – supplies film and television information for WolfOut Rankings; your searches are sent to them. Resend – sends transactional email, such as notifying a contributor that their video was approved.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. You may delete individual analysis records from your dashboard. You are not required to create an account to use the free tier.
If we make material changes to how your data is handled, we will update this page and note the date of the change below.
